Booking an Appointment

We can usually fit you in for an appointment with a clinician on the day you choose.

If the surgery is full you will be offered the next available routine appointment, unless the problem is urgent and then you will be seen by a clinician that day.

You may choose to see which ever doctor you wish but this may mean we are unable to you an appointment on the day of your choosing.  You will be offered the first available appointment for the clinician of your choice.  During some periods, such as holidays, there may be only one doctor on duty.

Patients contacting the practice by phone or in person with a minor injury will be given a same day appointment.

If you feel you have a condition which could be infectious please mention this to the receptionist when booking your appointment.  Arrangements can be made for you to use a side entrance and wait to be seen in a separate room.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let the surgery know.

Appointments can be made on-line through patient access, please contact the surgery to register for a password and obtain further information on this system.

Extended Hours Service

We offer Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistant appointments on a Tuesday morning from 7.30am.  We also provide telephone consultations with a GP on either a Monday or Tuesday evening between 6.30-7pm.  These appointments are only bookable in advance (see above)

Better Access Appointments

Patients who are registered at this practice can now pre-book an appointment to see a GP or nurse on a Saturday morning between 8.30am-12.00 noon.  This is not a walk-in service and will be held at a different surgery - please speak to a receptionist to find out more or to book an appointment
